My Speech for Jimmy

Over 500 people were present yesterday at Jimmy's services in Houston. It was awe inspiring. Only Jimmy could pull that kind of an audience. Thank you to those who came to be with us as we shared our favorite stories about our favorite person. If you couldn't make it - we felt your spirit, thank you. Here is my speech, for those of you who would like to read it:

Thank You

If you'd like advice on how to approach us or what to say, a simple hug is enough. Silence is okay too. A heart emoji is gracious and kind and sometimes the perfect gesture. Don't worry about saying the right thing, your presence says a lot more than words can.

This absolute dumpster fire of an election has caused us to lose sight of what’s really important. The deaths of six Green Berets, absolutely among our finest in the Armed Forces, have gone woefully ignored. Instead, we have devoted all of our time and attention to a mind numbing sideshow.

We're in good hands here at the Fisher House in Dover, but it's going to be a long night. Jimmy lands in about an hour. 💔

Jimmy's Services

We will be honoring our brother, son and best friend, Staff Sergeant Jimmy Moriarty, this Saturday, November 12th at the gymnasium of Annunciation Orthodox School located at 3600 Yoakum Blvd, Houston Texas 77006. The memorial services will begin at 2:30pm.

This morning we flew from Houston to Philadelphia. We were picked up and driven to the Dover AFB in Delaware. We're here now and expect Jimmy to arrive at 8PM tonight.  Trying to stay strong but this living nightmare has weakened me to the core.
